Back to something like normal

Marsha's much more clear-headed than she was in the hospital: she's awake when I go in to see her, she doesn't fall asleep while I'm there, she doesn't repeat the same sentence multiple times. She seems to have gotten out of the habit of watching TV in the hospital: instead she's reading an e-book and listening to the cellist Yo-Yo Ma. I think she must still be sleeping a lot, as she started the book Tuesday and is about halfway through.

One scare resolved: her favorite nurse was on vacation when Marsha got back to the nursing home, and Marsha thought she wasn't working there any more. But she is.
